I am cherishing the thought of David in Psalm 5:8 when he says"Lead me, O LOrd, In your righteousness because of my enemies--make straight your way before me'". Also, I am thankful fo the NT amplification of David's thought in the form of the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13. "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful;he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." So often I realize my enemy is me and my intent to do things my way. In doing things my way I choose not to take the way out God has provided.
