A friend posted the following C.S. Lewis quote as his Facebook status yesterday: “There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, ‘All right, then, have it your way.’”
I love good quotes. But this one sort of ate at me last night to the point of worry. Do I trust God enough? Do I say and really mean "Thy will be done?" Or am I not letting go and thinking I know better? YIKES!
This morning I read in Psalm 25 “Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
